Nani is playing a dual role in ‘Shyam Singha Roy’. One of the characters is Bengali Babu. Nani will be seen donning the role of a Bengali guy in this film which is set in the backdrop of Kolkota.

The film’s shoot is progressing in West Bengal now. To add more authenticity to the story, the team has roped in popular Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta for a crucial role. He has come on board for this film and joins the shoot.
Jisshu Sengupta also played roles in Telugu films like ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’ and ‘Ashwathama’.
Being directed by Rahul Sankrityan, ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ has Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty as the heroines.
