With ‘Waltair Veerayya,’ a commercial entertainer, megastar Chiranjeevi scored a mega blockbuster. Chiranjeevi, buoyed by the success of the film, has resumed production on ‘Bholaa Shankar’ with vigour.

‘Bholaa Shankar’ began its shoot last year but was stalled so that Chiranjeevi could focus on ‘Waltair Veerayya’. Now that he’s finished with that project, he’s starting work on ‘Bholaa Shankar,’ and filming resumed today in Hyderabad.Chiranjeevi will join the shoot the following day (Jan 18).
The film, directed by Meher Ramesh, is a remake of the Tamil hit Vedalam.
Tamannaah has been cast alongside Chiranjeevi, with Keerthy Suresh playing his sister. Thaman is the music director for the brother-sister sentiment drama.
