
This festive weekend, four films are set to clash at the box office in Telugu states. Today, Mohanlal’s much-anticipated “L2 Empuraan” hit theaters, taking a massive opening worldwide. The Telugu-dubbed version also saw a strong start. “L2 Empuraan”, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, has huge ensemble cast. Dil Raju’s SVC is distributing the film. Hence, it got good theaters in AP and Telangana.
Alongside it, Vikram’s dubbed film “Veera Dheera Shoora” was released, though it arrived with minimal buzz.
The biggest Telugu release of the weekend is “Robinhood,” starring Nithiin. With Ugadi and Ramzan celebrations boosting the festive mood, the makers are hoping for a solid performance at the box office. Nithiin has aggressively promoted the film and appears confident about its success. “Robinhood” releases on March 28.
Competing with it on the same day is “Mad Square,” a comedy featuring Narne Nithiin, Sangeeth Sobhan, and Ram Nithiin. This film is a sequel to the hit comedy “MAD.”
Adding to the frenzy, Salman Khan’s “Sikandar” will release on March 30, further intensifying the competition.
With multiple big releases from March 27 to March 30, the box office is in for a packed and exciting battle.
