‘Blockbuster’ Boyapati needs to wait for the next film!

Lately, top directors are wasting their precious time waiting for the call sheets of the top stars. Even successful directors who have delivered blockbusters are at the mercy of the stars. Trivikram, one of the highest-paid directors in India, has waited nearly two years to begin his next directorial. He will soon launch Mahesh Babu’s next. His previous film, Ala Vaikunthapurramllo, was released in January 2020.

Now, director Boyapati Srinu, who has just delivered the massive blockbuster ‘Akhanda’, might face the same situation.

Boyapati Srinu got a nod from Allu Arjun even before the release of ‘Akhanda’. However, Allu Arjun, after the success of ‘Pushpa’ in the Hindi market, is keen on commencing ‘Pushpa 2’ immediately. Allu Arjun cannot give his dates to Boyapati for another eight to ten months.

Meanwhile, there is also talk that Allu Arjun might team up with Tamil director Atlee after the completion of ‘Pushpa 2’.

Allu Arjun and Boyapati

If the ‘Akhanda’ director sticks to the plan of directing Allu Arjun, he may have to wait to sit at home for a longer period. What will Boyapati do now? Will he wait or approach another star?
