BO: Ooru Peru Bhairavakona performs slightly better in US

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona

“Ooru Peru Bhairavakona” featuring Sundeep Kishan as the lead hero was released in theaters last weekend. The filmmakers were so assured of their movie’s prospects that they organized paid premiere screenings in Hyderabad and other locations two days prior to the official release in theaters. However, this has worked to the detriment of the film.

Due to overwhelmingly negative feedback from paid premieres, the producers decided to cancel Thursday premieres in Hyderabad. The reviews were unfavorable for it on Friday. The film did not have a strong opening as anticipated by the makers. Director Vi Anand’s ineffective storytelling has diminished the film’s chances of success.

The collection for “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona” in the first weekend in both Telugu states was strictly average.

The team and hero Sundeep Kishan found solace in the fact that the film garnered a substantial amount in the USA. “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona” earned $250k (Rs 2 crore) in the USA, marking the highest collection ever for a Sundeep Kishan movie.

Eagle is a disaster

Ravi Teja’s film “Eagle” was a failure. The film failed to show any increase in revenue during its second weekend, resulting in huge financial losses for the producers.
