With “Akhanda,” director Boyapati Srinu has proven that he is a master of the mass action drama genre. Additionally, he has demonstrated once more that his partnership with Nandamuri Balakrishna yields one hundred per cent success.
This time he’s behind the camera for another commercial film. Ustaad Ram Pothineni is the hero in this movie. Whenever Boyapati has worked with an actor other than Nandamuri Balakrishna, the results have been less than stellar. This time around, however, he’s out to prove that, with the help of young actors like Ram Pothineni, he can make truly epic blockbuster films.
From what we hear, he has written some terrific scenes for Ram Pothineni. A witness to the filming of the opening sequence claims that it will shock audiences. The shooting is underway.
