Buchi Babu issues a clarification about Puspha 2

The other day we posted news that director Buchi Babu of ‘Uppena’ is working on the script of ‘Pushpa 2’

. One of his co-writers shared pictures of them having a script session with director Sukumar. A day after the news went viral, Buchi Babu issued a clarification.

The ‘Uppena’ director is a long-time associate of Sukumar. He worked on ‘Rangasthalam’ as a writer as well. But Buchi Babu says he is not writing ‘Pushpa 2’. The session was actually for his next film.

“The photos are from the script reading session for my next film. My Guru Sukumar garu came to help me finish the draft of my script. He is helping me. I have not attained the position or knowledge to help Sukumar sir. I can only learn from him,” he said, setting the record straight.

After the success of ‘Uppena’, Buchi Babu approached NTR and narrated a story. Looks like they are preparing the final draft of this script to narrate NTR again to seek his final seal of approval.
