Cannes 2026 winners list out; Aishwarya Rai dominates fashion buzz

The 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival came to a glamorous close, with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once again stealing the spotlight at the closing ceremony. Widely hailed as the “Queen of Cannes,” Aishwarya delivered one of the festival’s most memorable fashion moments with a breathtaking all-white couture ensemble.
For the grand finale, Aishwarya opted for a dramatic tuxedo-inspired outfit designed by acclaimed Chinese designer Cheney Chan. The layered couture creation featured feathers, sequins, lace detailing, embellished lapels, and bold padded shoulders, perfectly blending power dressing with high-fashion elegance. Her striking appearance quickly became one of the most talked-about red carpet looks of Cannes 2026.
As the curtain came down on this year’s festival, several films and artists walked away with top honours.
