Clarity needed for ‘Vishambhara’ and ‘Raja Saab’!

The suspense over the release date of “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” has finally ended. The producers have announced a new date—May 9, 2025—and have begun fresh promotions. Interestingly, this was the previously expected release date for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Vishambhara.”

With Pawan Kalyan’s film securing its date and Jr. NTR’s “War 2” also locking in its release, industry insiders are now awaiting clarity on two other major films that remain indefinitely postponed.

Prabhas’s “The Raja Saab,” initially scheduled for April 10, was recently delayed, but the makers have yet to announce a new release date. Some speculated it might arrive on Independence Day (August 15), but with “War 2” now taking that slot, the horror-comedy may have to opt for a July or September release instead.

Complicating matters, the film’s shoot is still incomplete, which is likely why the production team remains silent about their release plans.

Other movies want clarity

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s “Vishambhara” has nearly wrapped up filming, but delays in visual effects forced a postponement. The team is considering a July or August release.

Directed by Vassishta, “Vishambhara” needs to finalize its plans soon, as its decision could impact the scheduling of other major releases.
