Last weekend, the Hindi version of “Daaku Maharaaj” starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Bobby was released. While the Telugu version of the film was released worldwide on January 12, the Hindi version was made available in theaters from January 26.
In the four days following its release, “Daaku Maharaaj” collected a meagre Rs 23 lakhs, yep, you read that correctly, across India. This is a shameful collection for any film.
No wonder Hindi trade analysts are mocking “Daaku Maharaaj”.
The film’s producer, Naga Vamsi, has previously made disparaging remarks regarding Bollywood movies and the Hindi film business. So, Bollywood trade pundits trolling Naga Vamsi, claiming that his film could not even make Rs 25 lakhs in four days in the Hindi market.
“Daaku Maharaaj” is a huge flop in Hindi despite the fact the film also starred Urvashi Rautela and Bobby Deol, Bollywood actors.
