For the first time in his career, Nani is mouthing dialogues in Telangana slang. The film is titled ‘Dasara’. On the eve of the Dasara festival, the makers of ‘Dasara’ have decided to release the first song. The song that goes with the lyrics, Dhoom Dhaam Dhosthaan, is penned by Kasarla Shyam. Tamil music composer Santhosh Narayanan, who is famous for providing a terrific soundtrack for Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ has given the tunes.
Nani is playing a rugged character for the first time. Directed by debutant Srikanth Odela, the film is bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri.
Keerthy Suresh is the main heroine. The story is set in a village situated in Singareni Coal Mines in Telangana.
‘Dasara’ also marks Nani’s first Pan-India release. It will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages on 30th March 2023.
