Day 2: Devara Hindi posts a bigger number

“Devara” has seen growth in the Hindi market. The film collected Rs 7.5 crore nett on its first day, which was a good number considering it is NTR’s first attempt as a solo hero in the Hindi market. Interestingly, collections increased on the second day of the film.

Early estimates say “Devara” collected about Rs 9 to 10 crore nett on its second day, which is a huge jump.

Directed by Koratala Siva, “Devara” received mixed reviews, but the action drama gained huge collection on the first day in Telugu states as well as the USA. The momentum on the second day in Telugu states remained steady.

However, NTR finds the impressive performance of the Hindi version crucial. He is relieved that the film is looking at a nearly Rs 30 crore weekend opening.
