Despite receiving mixed reviews, “Devara” has managed to collect big amount of money thus far. But it seems NTR expected it to be a huge blockbuster, and he was disappointed that the collections were not up to his expectations.
Despite the mixed talk and the director’s previous failures, NTR has demonstrated his box office power with this film, proving that he can attract audiences in big way.
But did he really blame the audience for not making the film a mega-blockbuster?
According to social media reports, NTR criticized the changing habits of audiences in a recent interview with India Today for their excessive criticism of movie content. He stated that audiences have not been enjoying the films as they are, but they have started overanalyzing and viewing them critically. He reportedly held the audience accountable for the underperformance.
It’s unclear if he actually said this or if someone misrepresented his remarks.
