Dil Raju, who recently assumed the post of chairperson of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, played a main role in felicitating the meeting between Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and the delegation of the Telugu film industry. The real purpose of the meeting was to tell the world that there is no “gap” between the government and the industry as well as bring peaceful closure to the Allu Arjun and Sandhya theater stampede case.
However, the media and social media created a significant buzz prior to the meeting, giving the impression that Dil Raju was attempting to persuade the chief minister to increase the ticket prices for upcoming Sankranthi films, including his own production, Game Changer.
But Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, according to media reports, reiterated that there will not be any benefit shows and hikes in ticket prices. When the media questioned him about this, Dil Raju attempted to dismiss them as “minor issues” in his speech.

“The agenda of the meeting was to explore how Telugu cinema can grow on a national and international scale. CM Garu urged us to develop Hyderabad as a global hub for cinema,” he said.
His speech attracted a lot of memes and trolling. The trolls are wondering why CM suddenly wanted to develop Hyderabad as a global hub for cinema. The majority of those who attended, like Murali Mohan and K. Raghavendra Rao, have not been making/producing films for many years. It is no secret that Hyderabad is already a major hub for film shootings in India.
This is why Dil Raju’s hyperactivity to impress the chief minister, who gave him the FDC post, is attracting the trolls.
