Rana’s ‘Aranya’ was promoted as trilingual and a pan-India biggie. But the film now turned out to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual as the Hindi release has been postponed due to the spike in number of corona cases in Maharashtra and other parts of North India.

For various reasons, ‘Aranya’ has failed to create an interest among audiences in Telugu states. The current trend on ticketing platforms shows that the audiences are showing little inclination to book the tickets in advance.

It may pick up collections if the strong word-of-mouth spread and positive reviews come in. However, it is surprising to see that Rana’s promotion has not helped much. He is now indulging in more promotional activities to create buzz.

‘Aranya’ is directed by Prabhu Solomon. It features Rana as a forest officer. Vishnu Vishal and Shriya Pilgaonkar play important roles.
