Superstar Mahesh Babu has received notices from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning in a case related to Sai Surya Developers and the Surana Group. He reportedly received substantial payments as a brand ambassador for these real estate companies.
He has been asked to appear before ED officials on the 27th of this month. The agency is expected to question him regarding the payments he received from these companies for endorsing their brands.
Mahesh Babu appeared in advertisements and on billboards for these real estate firms, which are currently under the scanner for alleged financial irregularities.
Mahesh Babu is one of the most popular brand ambassadors in India, earning more from endorsements than from his film projects. He has been promoting various corporate brands for nearly two decades. However, this is the first time he has received notices from the ED.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu is currently working on SS Rajamouli’s globe-trotting adventure thriller, which is presently in production.
