Actor Prakash Raj is will have to face questions from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over a money laundering case. Pranav Jewellers, based in Tamil Nadu, is allegedly the target of a ₹100 crore ponzi scheme and fraud.

Prakash Raj has represented this company as brand ambassador. Prakash Raj has been asked to depose before ED in Chennai next week.
According to the ED, the probe into the purportedly fraudulent gold investment scheme put out by Pranav Jewellers includes the summonsing of Prakash Raj.
Prakash Raj is vocal opponent of the current central government’s BJP policies.
On the work front, he is playing a key role in Trivikram – Mahesh Babu’s “Guntur Kaaram”, which is in the shooting stage.
