Epic: ‘Priyasakhi’ song strikes a right chord

The makers of “Epic – First Semester” have unveiled the film’s second single, “Priyasakhi.” Packed with emotion and warmth, the song captures the tender feelings of a young man in love, expressing admiration, affection, and unspoken emotions with remarkable simplicity.

Penned by Suresh Banisetti, the lyrics are heartfelt and relatable, perfectly complementing the mood of the song. Singer K.S. Harisankar elevates the track with his soothing vocals, bringing depth and sincerity to every line.

Composer Hesham Abdul Wahab once again crafts a melody that feels fresh and breezy while retaining emotional richness. The gentle orchestration enhances the song’s appeal, making it an easy repeat-listen.

Shot against picturesque London locations, the song looks vibrant and refreshing. Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya share delightful chemistry.

Directed by debutant Aditya Haasan, “Epic” is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The movie is slated for July 2026 release.
