‘Bigg Boss Telugu’ is an immensely popular reality show. The five seasons have become super hit. Buoyed by the response on TV, the Star group is launching a new season for OTT. Recently, OTT platform Voot ran the Bigg Boss (Hindi), but the show received a tepid reception.
Star Group has planned it differently to make it a huge success. It will be a shorter version with under 10 weeks. Disney+Hotstar will stream the OTT version of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu’ with Nagarjuna donning the host.
The team is now under the way of finalizing contestants. The contestants will be a mix of YouTube, social media, and film stars. About 15 members have already been shortlisted.
It will start streaming from the last week of February 2022. The sets are being erected at Annapurna Studios. For Nagarjuna, it is a double bonanza as he would be receiving remuneration two times in a year with the onset of the OTT show.
