Senior star Nagarjuna Akkineni seems to be in confusion. Nagarjuna is reportedly interfering in the work of directors. Result: his new film lands in trouble.
Nagarjuna recently teamed up with director Praveen Sattaru for an action drama. Praveen Sattaru delivered a hit with Rajasekhar starrer ‘PSV Garuda Vega’ and later he directed web dramas. Nagarjuna and Praveen Sattaru film began its shoot in March this year.
Kajal Aggarwal came on board to play the female lead opposite Nagarjuna in this film that was jointly produced by Narang Das, Ram Mohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar. After completing a major schedule in Goa, the film’s shoot has been stalled due to the second wave of coronavirus.
Will it resume the shoot after the pandemic situation subsides? Doubtful, say sources close to the developments.
We have learned that Nagarjuna and director Praveen Sattaru are at loggerheads over the script. Nagarjuna reportedly is demanding certain changes after completing a long schedule. Sattaru is said to have declined to do the changes.
Although ‘Wild Dog’ won good reviews and trended on Netflix, the film’s theatrical release was a flop. So, Nagarjuna reportedly wants to do entertainer in the place of this movie. Buzz is that Nagarjuna is all set to take up ‘Bangarraju’ after the lookdown ends. ‘Bangarraju’ is sequel to hit movie, ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’. There is a talk that he will move on to ‘Bangarraju’ putting aside Sattaru’s movie.
