Exclusive: The reason NTR rejected Buchi Babu’s script

Initially, NTR wanted to work with different types of filmmakers in order to keep his slate diverse, with a mix of big and upcoming directors. But everything changed after ‘RRR’ became more popular in the West and gained Oscar buzz.

NTR became more selective about the scripts and subjects he chose. He took nearly six months to give his final approval to Siva Koratala’s script. The film (#NTR30) is now on its way to hit the floors.

Similarly, he turned down director Buchi Babu’s script, despite his initial enthusiasm and encouragement to prepare the full draft. We have exclusive information that NTR recently called Buchi Babu and informed him that he will be unable to work with him. So Buchi Babu went to Ram Charan and told him another story. The work is on.

NTR’s plan is to collaborate with Koratala Siva for now and then start working with Prashanth Neel in 2023. These two projects got his importance.
