Exclusive: Venkatesh gives Trivikram a deadline

Senior star Venkatesh and director Trivikram have teamed up for the first time for “Adarsha Kutumbam,” which is currently under production. The project was initially planned as a quick turnaround film, with a release targeted for the summer season. However, like many Telugu films these days, the schedule has been pushed back.
Venkatesh originally expected to complete “Adarsha Kutumbam” by June and then move on to director Anil Ravipudi’s next multi-starrer. The actor is particularly enthusiastic about that project, considering the blockbuster success he has enjoyed with Ravipudi through films such as “F2” and “Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.”
Anil Ravipudi’s film is expected to begin regular shooting shortly. The director plans to start filming sequences featuring Kalyan Ram and other cast members first. However, Venkatesh is required to join the sets by late July, as the film is being planned for a Sankranthi 2027 release and must be completed within a tight production schedule.
Against this backdrop, Venkatesh has reportedly asked Trivikram to wrap up his portions in “Adarsha Kutumbam” within the next month. Sources say the actor has made it clear that he will begin shooting for Ravipudi’s film as scheduled and will not postpone his commitments any further.
The development reflects changing industry dynamics. There was a time when stars would rearrange their schedules to accommodate Trivikram’s projects. Today, even a senior star like Venkatesh appears to be prioritising a film with Anil Ravipudi over waiting for Trivikram’s production to get back on track.
