Exclusive: Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram team up as brothers-in-law
Director Anil Ravipudi is all set to launch his next film, a multistarrer featuring Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. The project will be formally launched this week, with regular shooting scheduled to commence next week.
TeluguCinema.com has exclusively learned that Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram will play brothers-in-law in the film. The rural family entertainer revolves around the humorous situations and conflicts that arise between the two characters, promising Ravipudi’s trademark blend of comedy and family drama.
Known for turning simple storylines into crowd-pleasing entertainers, Anil Ravipudi is expected to package the familiar premise with his signature humor and mass appeal.
The film is being planned for a Sankranthi 2027 release. One of the working titles under consideration is January 13 Vidudala, though the makers are yet to finalize the title.
GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in to compose the music. Krithi Shetty has already been confirmed as Kalyan Ram’s leading lady, while Keerthy Suresh is being considered for the other female lead role.
The film is being produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner.
