NTR’s “Devara” is set to hit the theatres this month. The promotions have already begun. NTR landed in Mumbai to attend the trailer launch event.
NTR is betting big on two markets – North India and North America. The regular domestic markets like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana always fetch big numbers on opening weekend for him. But he wants to sustain his market in NN (North India and North America.)
His previous film “RRR” posted $15 million gross in North America. “Devara” is expected to open big in the USA as the film’s pre-sales for premiere shows have created a new record for any Indian film. The film sold more than 250k tickets for premiere shows so far.
NTR wants to make his mark in the Hindi market with “Devara”. If this film grosses more than Rs 100 crore in North India, it will strengthen his image as a pan-Indian star.
