Ram Charan and director Shankar’s much-awaited big-budgeted pan-Indian film “Game Changer” has officially locked a new release date. Producer Dil Raju earlier planned to release it in theaters for Christmas 2024, but he announced the date as Sankranthi 2025.
“After consulting with the entire team and distributors from all areas and language versions, we received feedback that this kind of pan-Indian biggie should be released during the Sankranthi festival rather than the Christmas period,” Dil Raju said in a video statement.
Shankar is directing “Game Changer,” which stars Ram Charan as an IAS officer. The film has been in the making for more than four years.
“Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu agreed to our proposal and graciously backed out his film ‘Vishwambhara’ from the Sankranthi release. I thank Chiranjeevi Garu and producers Vamsi and Pramod for paving the way for our Game Changer movie,” Dil Raju added.
