The government of India recently announced the Padma Shri award to popular spiritual leader Garikapati Narasimha Rao. He never minces words in blasting ‘wrong practices’ in society.
Aiming his guns at blockbuster ‘Pushpa’, Garikapati slammed the makers for glorifying a smuggler.
“Is Pushpa Raj a lord Sri Rama or Satya Harischandra to claim that he won’t budge? He is a smuggler. Glorifying such a smuggler doesn’t augur well. Now, people are mimicking his mannerism and dialogue. It is a bad influence,” he said.
He said that the makers might show him as a reformed person in the second part but it had already corrupted the minds. “What is the point of showing five minutes of good qualities after glorifying the evilness for two hours?” he pointed out.
‘Pushpa’ starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika turned out to be a huge hit. Allu Arjun’s ‘Taggedhe Le’ dialogues have become immensely popular. Directed by Sukumar, the film is getting ready for the second part soon.
