Actor Vishal has landed in a controversy when a former Tamil lead actress Gayathri Raghuram took to social media to make strong comments on him. On Saturday (May 29, she mentioned that actresses run away from him fearing his harassment.
Gayathri said that many women and actresses have been victimized sexually in the Tamil film industry. Her tweets had created a huge flutter on social media.
She was reacting to Vishal’s statement on the PSBB school incident in Chennai. The school hit the headlines when one of the teachers had allegedly found harassing young school children.
Gayathri reacted to his tweet and asked him to also talk about the young girls in the Tamil film industry who are running away from the predators.
“Being in cinema industry first condemn the sexual predators and harassments.@VishalKOfficial . Look at what’s happening with new entry girls. Look at the harassment on female lead actors. You and your friends come from same clout to use and throw.many women affected by you people (sic), “ Gayathri posted on her Twitter. She further added, “Literally female leads run away from you. You should know that. Because of your continuous approach.”
Vishal has not responded to her tweets.
Gayathri Raghuram, daughter of famous choreographer Raghuram, also acted as heroine in ‘Maa Bapu Bommaku Pellanta’ in 2003. She is now a BJP leader in Tamilnadu.
