Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi teaser: Anjali is back

“Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi” marks 50th film in actress Anjali’s career. One of her highly successful movies is a horror-comedy called “Geethanjali,” which premiered in theaters in 2014. Almost ten years later, a sequel has been made.

The makers revealed the teaser and announced the release date today. The teaser starts with actor Srinivas Reddy portraying a filmmaker narrating a tale set in an ancient structure named Sangeeta Mahal. He states that the homeowner had two daughters, and the older daughter ran away with her lover. Anjali then reveals that her parents passed away a long time ago and are now wandering the building as ghosts. The drama commences.

The sequel combines elements of movie making with those of the horror drama genre. Sunil, Srinivasa Reddy, and Sathya play significant roles, while Anjali portrays both a ghost and an actress.

Newcomer Shiva Turlapati is directing the film. Kona Venkat wrote and co-produced it. MVV Cinema is co-producing it. March 22nd is the release date.
