Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Godfather’ is progressing at a rapid pace. The film’s new shooting schedule resumed today in Hyderabad. Being directed by Mohan Raja, ‘Godfather’ sees Chiranjeevi playing the titular character. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan plays a guest role.
The makers are looking for the date for the movie’s release. Our sources inform us that the film is likely to release during the Independence Day period. August 11 or 12 is the date the producers are looking.
Chiranjeevi will have a release this month with ‘Acharya’. After a gap of four months, he will have another movie at the theaters with ‘Godfather’. The film is the official remake of ‘Lucifer’, a Malayalam blockbuster.
‘Godfather’ also features Nayanthara and Satyadev in crucial roles.
