It is no secret that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Vishwambhara,” which has been in the making for more than a year and a half, has been facing issues related to visual effects. The team realized that the VFX completed earlier were of poor quality and decided to reshoot everything, leading to further delays.
The latest buzz is that the film will be delayed even further.
Chiranjeevi is currently working on director Anil Ravipudi’s film, which is expected to hit theaters on January 10, 2026. With extensive CG work still pending for Vishwambhara, industry sources now suggest that it will only hit screens in the summer of 2026.
Directed by Bimbisara fame Vassishta, “Vishwambhara” is being positioned as a grand visual spectacle. UV Creations is bankrolling it.
The film features Trisha and Ashika Ranganath as the female leads.
