#DisappointingAdipurish is one of the many hashtags that began trending on Twitter after the launch of the film’s teaser. The teaser of ‘Adipurush’ was released on Sunday in Ayodhya. Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and director Om Raut graced the ceremony.
The teaser gave clarity that the film is not a regular feature film. It has elements of motion-picture technology and animation. No one was expecting it to be an animated film. So, many were disappointed by the teaser. However, others defend that the new generation which is exposed to Hollywood superhero movies will lap it.
Either way, the fans and movie lovers are divided over the teaser.
‘Adipurush’ is based on Ramayana. Slated to hit the theaters on 12 Jan 2023, it will be Prabhas’s next pan-Indian release.
