Hebah Patel made a stunning impression with her portrayal of Kumari in Kumari 21F (2015). Over the past decade, she has appeared in numerous roles, carving a niche for herself in the Telugu film industry.
As she completes ten years in the industry, Hebah remains optimistic about her future. She is set to appear next in “Odela 2,” the sequel to “Odela Railway Station,” which is slated for release on April 17.
“Odela Railway Station was a murder mystery, while Odela 2 is a supernatural thriller,” Hebah shared about the film.
“I played the lead role in the first part, but in this sequel, Tamannaah Bhatia joins as my sister and takes center stage. However, my role is equally impactful. Odela 2 is on a much bigger scale than the first.”
She further added, “Kumari 21F brought me fame, but Odela gave me credibility as an actor. It proved to me that I could take on diverse roles with confidence.
Sampath Nandi is a visionary filmmaker. When he first narrated my character in Odela Railway Station, I wondered if I could do justice to such a performance-driven role. However, his belief in me provided me with the confidence to challenge my limits. Sampath garu is not only a brilliant storyteller but also a kind and supportive person.”
Hebah Patel: I have learned a lot
Speaking about her experience working with Tamannaah, Hebah revealed, “I saw firsthand how much homework she does for her roles. It inspired me, and I plan to do the same in the future.”
Reflecting on her decade-long journey, she said, “There have been ups and downs, but as an actress, I am always happy. Success or failure is never final—I have learned a lot along the way. I am confident that I will continue in this industry for another ten years.”
Hebah also expressed her desire to take on new challenges, stating, “I really want to do a full-fledged comedy entertainer in the coming years.”
