After delivering back-to-back entertainers, producers Bunny Vaas and Vamsi Nandipati are gearing up for the release of their latest venture “Hey Balwanth.” The film, directed by Gopi Achhar and produced by B. Narendra Reddy under Trishul Visionary Studios, is slated for release on February 20. Starring Suhas, Shivani Nagaram, senior actor Naresh, and anchor Sravanti in key roles, the movie promises to be a full-length commercial entertainer.
Speaking to the media, Suhas shared that the film was initially titled “Hey Bhagwan,” but the censor board suggested a change since the word “Bhagwan” refers to God. Respecting the suggestion, the team renamed the film “Hey Balwanth” and also made minor changes, including altering Naresh’s character name. Suhas said the team cooperated fully with the board’s recommendations.
Talking about his role, Suhas revealed that he plays an ambitious youngster who dreams of starting his own business from childhood and eventually taking over his father’s enterprise. The story explores the challenges he faces and the true nature of his father’s business. He described the film as a complete entertainer filled with humor and emotions, adding that his character has strong entertainment value.
Interestingly, Suhas mentioned that “Hey Balwanth” is one of the fastest films completed in his career. Despite being wrapped up in a short span, he assured that the production quality has not been compromised. “I don’t know if I will ever do a film this fast again,” he said with a smile.

The actor admitted that he connected instantly with the story when he first heard it. “I was waiting for a film like this,” he said, adding that the final output has come out far better than they had initially imagined.
Suhas also spoke candidly about dealing with failures. After a series of setbacks, he took a short break and carefully chose “Hey Balwanth,” especially after family and well-wishers advised him to be selective. His wife, too, encouraged him to pick the right scripts.
On the Tamil front, Suhas is playing the main antagonist in “Mandadi.” He described it as a role and look he had long been waiting for.
Looking ahead, Suhas confirmed that he is doing a film under the banner of Karthik Subbaraj, who is providing the story, while one of his associates will direct it. He is also listening to several Telugu scripts and plans to finalize his upcoming projects soon.
