Ashika revealed that she was keen to collaborate with director Kishore Tirumala from the beginning.
Modern girl Manasa Shetty
“We had planned to work together earlier, but it did not materialise. When I later heard the story of Bhartha Mahashayulaku Vijnapti, I immediately connected with the character. I play a modern girl named Manasa Shetty, a role that today’s young women can easily relate to. The director also told me he had envisioned me for this part from the start,” she said.
She added that the character is completely different from her role in “Naa Saami Ranga.” “This film gives me a new space as an actor. I want every film of mine to feel fresh, and I am confident audiences will sense the novelty after watching this one,” she stated.
Talking about working with Ravi Teja, Ashika said matching his energy was a challenge.
“Ravi Teja sir’s energy is on another level. I am still learning Telugu, but the director was extremely supportive and guided me throughout. Kishore Tirumala is a very sensible filmmaker who designs his characters with great care. Ravi Teja sir is a brilliant performer, especially when it comes to balancing humour and emotion. Working with him was a wonderful experience.”

Different roles
“I want every film of mine to be different. I always try to bring a contrast compared to my previous role,” Ashika Ranganath explained.
