We previously reported that Megastar Chiranjeevi has given his approval to young directors. After Bholaa Shankar, Chiranjeevi’s next two films will be directed by Kalyan Krishna (‘Bangarraju’) and Vasisht (‘Bimbisara’).
The latest buzz is that Malayalam film ‘Bro Daddy’ will serve as a basis for director Kalyan Krishna’s story. Though they will not follow the story exactly, the main plot point will be taken from Mohanlal’s Malayalam film.
This plotpoint, however, has not piqued the interest of megastar Chiranjeevi’s fans. Today’s audiences prefer straight subjects to remakes. The fans want Chiranjeevi to act in original stories. “Bholaa Shankar” is also remake of a Tamil film.
But we’ll have to wait and see how Chiranjeevi reacts to these reports and fan appeals. Another young actor will play the lead role in the film.
