Income Tax officials conducted raids today at the residence and business establishments of Tamil actor Arya in Chennai.
According to Tamil media reports, the operation began with inspections at restaurants allegedly owned by the actor and later extended to his home.
Sources indicate that multiple branches of the popular ‘Sea Shell’ restaurant chain across Chennai are being scrutinized. However, official confirmation regarding the nature of the investigation or any findings is still awaited.
Arya is known to Telugu audiences for his roles in films like “Varudu,” “Size Zero,” and “Saindhav.” He is married to actress Sayyeshaa and received critical acclaim for his performance in the Tamil film “Sarpatta Parambarai.”
