The magnum opus “Kalki 2898 AD” starring Prabhas has been generating a lot of excitement for quite some time. Fans and the trade have been waiting for the film’s new release date since it was postponed from May 9th. The makers have now confirmed the new date.
“Kalki 2898 AD,” a science fiction drama set in the dystopian age, will be released in theaters on June 27, 2024. The release date poster features Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.
The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, stars Prabhas as Bhairava and Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama.
“Kalki 2898 AD” stars Kamal Haasan as the main antagonist. Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani play the female lead roles. This is one of the most expensive films created in Indian cinema history. The film made waves after its dramatic presentation at the San Diego Comic-Con last year, gaining tremendous global attention.
