All reports of Kamal Haasan joining the ‘Project K’ team were confirmed. The name of the legendary actor was announced today.
“We needed someone whose shadow could cover the earth. There was only one – Ulganayagan Kamal Haasan,” the team wrote.
‘Project K’ is a massive sci-fi drama with a budget of nearly Rs 400 crore. Prabhas plays the main lead role. In addition to Prabhas, the film stars the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone get the top billing. Kamal Haasan has now joined them.
It’s a real casting coup. Kamal Haasan plays the antagonist in the film, which is currently being shot in Hyderabad.
The film also features Disha Patani as the second female lead. Santosh Narayanan is scoring the music. Vyjayanthi Movies is bankrolling the film.
