It’s official: Pawan Kalyan confirms OG 2, set to begin soon

All is set for “OG 2.” Putting an end to months of speculation, Pawan Kalyan has officially confirmed the continuation of the “OG Universe.”

Known for rarely using his personal X handle to discuss his films, Pawan Kalyan made an exception this time by quote-posting a video shared by Pawan Kalyan Creative Works, his own production banner. The gesture itself was enough to signal that the much-awaited sequel is very much on track.

Through the post, Pawan Kalyan confirmed that “OG 2” will commence shortly.

According to sources, director Sujeeth has already narrated the basic idea for expanding the “OG Universe” and sought time to develop it into a full-fledged script. Once the writing process is completed, the project is expected to move into production.

The film will be produced by Pawan Kalyan Creative Works, with music composed by Thaman. Sujeeth will return to direct the sequel, this time mounting the project on a bigger scale with a broader vision for the franchise.

Pawan Kalyan also appeared particularly enthusiastic about taking the story forward. In his post, he indicated that he had heard the repeated requests from fans and decided to oblige them.

Fans have been eagerly demanding a sequel ever since “OG” emerged as the biggest grosser of Pawan Kalyan’s career. Despite his busy political commitments, the actor seems keen to allocate time for the ambitious follow-up and take the OG Universe to the next level.
