Jai Hanuman pooja ceremony set for February 22

Jai HanuMan

Amid recent rumors that Rishab Shetty had opted out of his Telugu debut, clarity has finally emerged. The actor is all set to headline “Jai Hanuman,” the second installment in the “HanuMan” franchise.

In this sequel, Rishab Shetty will portray Lord Hanuman. While the first part centered on a devotee of Hanuman played by Teja Sajja, the new chapter will delve deeper into the divine story of Hanuman himself. Though Shetty signed the project long ago, the formal launch had been delayed until now.

The pooja ceremony has been scheduled at Anjanadri Betta in Hanumanahalli near Hampi, Karnataka, on February 22. The banner Mythri Movie Makers has officially confirmed the development, adding that regular shooting will commence soon after.

Directed by Prasanth Varma, the film is mounted on a grand scale. Reports suggest that Rishab Shetty is being paid nearly Rs 80 crore as remuneration for this project “Jai Hanuman”. Teja Sajja will also be part of the sequel in a key role.
