Janhvi Kapoor for Grazia

Janhvi Kapoor is not just the daughter of late legendary actress Sridevi, who had strong Telugu and Tamil roots, but also a popular star in her own right. She made her Telugu debut opposite N. T. Rama Rao Jr. in “Devara” and is now gearing up for the release of “Peddi” alongside Ram Charan.

Currently in the spotlight, Janhvi graced the February–March cover of Grazia India and spoke candidly about her life, social media presence, and evolving career.

During the interaction, she expressed her emotional bond with the southern states. “I feel very connected to the Andhra, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu culture because it’s so familiar to me; it’s a big part of my identity,” she told the magazine.

Janhvi is fluent in Tamil and speaks fairly good Telugu, further strengthening her connection to the South. Although Mumbai remains her home base, where she lives with her father Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi Kapoor, she frequently travels to Hyderabad, Chennai, and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, keeping her roots close to her heart.
