Janhvi Kapoor is Achiyyamma in Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’

The team of “Peddi” has been actively promoting the film even as its shooting continues. The makers have now unveiled the first look of lead actress Janhvi Kapoor.

Starring Ram Charan in the titular role, Peddi features Janhvi Kapoor as a spirited village belle named Achiyyamma. Two posters introducing her character were released, showing Janhvi in a rustic printed saree, adorned with traditional jewelry and sunglasses, striking a confident pose at a microphone stand. Her character is described as “fierce and fearless.”

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi has music by A.R. Rahman, with the first song set to be released soon.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is being mounted on a grand scale with a high budget.

The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani in key roles. “Peddi” is slated for theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
