There are doubts about whether Janvhi Kapoor really has enough stardom to bring audiences to the theaters. Based on her popularity on social media and her overall craze, Janhvi Kapoor has been securing big projects in Telugu.
But none of her Hindi films have succeeded much at the box office. Most of her movies ended up being flops. Plus, she has not been able to bag a single movie opposite a notable male star in Bollywood.
Now, her latest film, “Ulajh,” met with the same dull response.
On August 2nd, the film made its theatrical debut. The first-day collections across India are just about Rs 1.37 crore (net). With such a low opening, many box office pundits are wondering about her stardom. Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, and Roshan Mathew starred in this film, which is about a government officer sucked into dangerous circumstances. Sudhanshu Saria directed this film, which also received low ratings from critics.
Janhvi Kapoor is currently acting opposite NTR in “Devara,” and she will also start working with Ram Charan in “RC16.”
