‘Jathi Ratnalu’ has ended its first week run on a glorious note. The film has collected a share of Rs 22.5 crore in its first week in Telugu states, a huge record for a small-budgeted movie.

The film has already turned out to be one of the biggest hits ever in Tollywood’s history considering its production cost and return on investment.

‘Jathi Ratnalu’, however, has seen a huge drop on the first day of its second week. The film is now running with 40 to 50% occupancy in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana. In Andhra Pradesh, the occupancy is much lower.

Exhibitors are confident that it would see a spike in collections on Friday as people would return to the theaters during weekends. But it will also have to fight with the three new releases tomorrow.

Starring Naveen Polishetty and Faria, ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ is directed by Anudeep and produced by Nag Ashwin on Swapna Cinemas banner. The film’s OTT release has also been delayed due to its extraordinary performance in the theaters.
