Cinematographer Jaya Krishna Gummadi is a well-known cinematographer. He is now winning accolades for his work in Bollywood. He recently won Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award.
He took this award as Best Cinematographer for Haseena Dillruba. The film starred Taapsee and Vikrant Massey in the lead. The film streamed on Netflix directly. His work in the film won appreciation from critics. Now this award has brought more recognition to him.
In the past, Jaya Krishna Gummadi has received the National Film Award for Best Non-Feature Film Cinematography at the 56th National Film Awards, for his short film When This Man Dies. His diploma film ‘Vadhakramam’ won the critic’s jury award at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival.
Jaya Krishna lent his camerawork for Telugu films such as ‘World Famous Lover’, ‘Okkadunnadu’, etc.
