The “Kalki 2898 AD” team is completely confused about the release date. The team did not expect the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Lok Sabha elections to take place on May 13, 2024. As a result, they were forced to cancel their planned May 9th release date. It is becoming increasingly difficult to set a ‘perfect’ date.
The team believes that the ideal date for this massive film would be August 15th. However, “Pushpa 2 The Rule” is sticking to this date. So, the “Kalki 2898 AD” team is looking into a variety of options, including two later dates in May, as well as the last weeks of June and July.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s highly anticipated film “Indian 2” is scheduled for release in June. Since Kamal Haasan plays the antagonist in “Kalki,” the team must keep at least two weeks between these two films.
Fans of Prabhas suggested that the film be released on the ‘Baahubali’ date of July 10th.
The team cannot begin promotions until they have decided on a suitable release date. Initially, they planned to release the trailer on April 7, 2024. However, they have not yet begun any promotions.
The dystopian thriller, starring Prabhas as ‘Bhairava’, is directed by Nag Ashwin. The film, produced by veteran C Ashwini Dutt, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan. The music is provided by Santosh Narayanan.
