Kanam deals with a sensitive subject
Sai Pallavi starrer ‘Kanam’ will be releasing this weekend (April 27). The film deals with a very sensitive subject of abortion. The subject is still a taboo in some parts of India. Speaking about the film the actress said that her role is something that she has never done before. It is powerful. Sai Pallavi will be seen as a mother of a four-year-old.
Since the role was a well-established and a strong one, the actress decided to dub for her part. She is confident that the film will do well. Naga Shaurya is the leading man of the film and it is directed by Vijay. The film was to release in Feb but it has been postponed twice.
