Kareena Kapoor once ruled the Bollywood industry as the top actress. She remained in the number one position for many years. However, she lost her prominence due to her age and the arrival of a new generation of actresses.
Although she is still playing the lead roles, she is not getting typical heroine roles. She knows that she can only get lead roles in heroine-centric movies like “Jaane Jaan” and “Crew.” Although she played the heroine opposite Aamir Khan in “Laal Singh Chaddha,” the film bombed at the box office.
She is realistic enough to understand that audiences will not accept her as a regular heroine alongside current top male stars. She recently refuted reports of her pairing with Prabhas in “Spirit,” stating that there was no chance.
She understands well that she can secure a key role in Prabhas’s movie, but not as his pair.
