‘Chandramukhi’ is one of the most successful films in Indian cinema. In 2005, the thriller starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika was a box office success in all South Indian languages. A sequel is being made nearly 18 years later.
Raghava Lawrence replaces Rajinikanth in the sequel, titled ‘Chandramukhi 2’. The thriller, directed by P Vasu and produced by Lyca Productions, is currently in post-production.
MM Keeravani, who is composing the music for the film, said it “blew his mind.”
He tweeted, “Watched @LycaProductions Chandramukhi 2. The characters in the movie spend sleepless nights from fear of DEATH . for me 2 months of sleepless days and nights for adding LIFE to the mind blowing scenes with my efforts. GuruKiran & my friend Vidyasagar pls wish me the best.”
