When Keerthy Suresh starred alongside Varun Dhawan in Baby John, which debuted in theaters in December last year, she entered Bollywood with high expectations. However, her debut film flopped.
Despite the setback, Keerthy remains undeterred and is committed to establishing herself in the Hindi film industry. She has been actively learning Hindi to improve her fluency, a skill she believes is essential for deeper immersion in Bollywood.
In a recent interview, she shared that her love for the language blossomed after watching the iconic Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.”
Additionally, she expressed her fondness for Mumbai, describing the city as warm and welcoming. Though she initially needed time to adjust, she now feels at home in the bustling metropolis.
Even though Baby John did not perform well commercially, Keerthy’s acting skills received praise, and she is reportedly in talks to star as the female lead in “Prem Ki Shaadi,” a film backed by Salman Khan and directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya.
